Married Pastor Whatmore Makwara who had sex with church member deletes Facebook account
Controversial Zimbabwean pastor, Apostle Whatmore Makwara has deleted his Facebook account after his affair with a church member was exposed through Facebook in Swaziland.
Apostle Makwara is the founder and pastor of the two year old Family Worship Centre International, which holds its services at the Matsapha Industrial Site. He exchanged flirty messages with the woman which gradually led to an extra marital affair.
The woman tearfully confessed that she slept with the pastor. She said the affair was ended by mutual consent between her and the apostle at the end of May, 2011.
The woman said the affair started around March this year. She said they were working closely together on church business and she somehow found herself in the situation where their relationship turned into an extra marital affair on the part of the apostle.
The woman says the relationship never sat well with her as she knew that it was wrong and she was afraid of being caught. She confessed to Makwara’s wife who was devastated.
The apostle and his wife are still together but the affair rocked the marriage as well as his young church. Other members of his church were appalled at what their leader had done.
